JUMBO FILTER HOUSINGS
Jumbo Filter Housings can be installed like a whole home filter to help protect your water softener and filter the water in your home. They are small and require less room as they are mounted on the wall. However, they require a cartridge that needs to be changed regularly, which is an added cost. 10 and 20-inch housings are shown below.

What is a water conditioner? It is similar to water softener but does not remove the hard water minerals from your water. It neutralizes them through an ion exchange. This could be an option for someone sensitive to salt in the water or wanting no maintenance costs.
